I thought I would start up a blog to practice writing for what I want to do in the future - something to do with Journalism. This page will display me practicing how to write articles, photos, people, places, events, inspirational quotes, updates, what I love, what I don’t love, life & interests and just mucking around etc... so whoever is reading, I hope you enjoy it!
neon/pastle colours are in!!
Yeah beautiful colours! Spring / Summer is the best! :)
from Summer looksWow! I have not come to blog on here in so long! I guess its because life has been so busy and I wish I had more time to come on here. I will have more time now that uni is finishing up for the year. I needed to come on here so badly to just emphasize to everyone how precious life really is. 3 weeks ago my amazing Uncle Paul (my Mum’s brother) was diagnosed with a very bad cancer. When we found out we had strong hope that he could overcome this but a week or so later we found out that it was actually spread out throughout his body, and that it was incurable. Those words ‘terminal’ and ‘incurable’ are words that nobody should ever EVER have to hear. I’m telling you now I have never seen so many people in my family all at once looking absolutely devastated. Why does it always have to happen to the bloody good people? I know we hear it all the time, that ugly word ‘cancer’ but now it has attacked my Uncle and there is nothing we can do.. all we can do is just be there for him and support each other which is what we are doing. I am so blessed to have a beautiful family around me and it just makes me put things into perspective. I couldn’t care less about university right now but I have to finish it off properly. I don’t understand why this happens to such beautiful people. Uncle Paul is a trooper he is dealing with it so well which makes it a little easier. Life is not simple at all, there are so many trials and tribulations and this is one of them. We need faith more than ever at this point and we need to be strong. HEALTH is so very important. Life is definitely so very precious and it just makes me realize that life really is too short, and I know we hear this all the time but you never know what is going to happen. Therefore, we do need to CHERISH every MOMENT, LAUGH, SMILE, BE HAPPY, BE DARING, LOVE OTHERS, HAVE RESPECT, TREASURE your LOVED ones, have FUN and LIVE LIFE! I love you Uncle Paul, you have always been so amazing to me and to all of us and you are an amazing person. You are the true meaning of an ‘Uncle’ and for that I thank you with all my heart. No-one could ever ever replace you, even if they tried. “The Worlds Greatest”. xxx
